Running On Qing Zang Plateau
» Towards Tibet
1,000km from Ge R Mu to Lhasa. Kam just checks out the first 100km.
It's the famous Qing Zang highway (gee, everything Qing Zang is famous). I didn't plan for a serious Qinghai trip. So I will just do the first 100km from Ge R Mu.
It's all uphill after Ge R Mu getting into the high part of Qing Zang Plateau. 500km down there, will hit Tang Gu La Pass at 5,213m.
Quan Lun Spring. Cool and sweet water.
Qing Zang Railway in the making.
Kam is expecting great scenery beyond the 100km but that is all he can do on this short trip. Tibet, I will be there soon!
Coaches to Lhasa.
